Nominations for the NEW IASLC Committees for the 2023-2025 term are now open!

 

  • The IASLC seeks active members to serve as volunteers on its organizational committees to bring diverse and innovative ideas to conquer thoracic malignancies.
  • If you are an active member of the IASLC with interest to serve, or would like to nominate a colleague for committee service, please complete the nomination form below. 
  • If nominating a colleague, the IASLC will contact the nominee for more information.  Nominations should state the committees preferred by the applicant, the experience and knowledge they could bring to this role and be supported by at least one other member of the IASLC.
  • We urge you to review the IASLC Committee Descriptions to select the committee opportunity that is right for you, please click here. 
  • Please note IASLC committee members are allowed to serve on one committee at a time.

1. Log in to the system using your IASLC member portal credentials.

2. Click on the links provided below to access the Nominating Forms.

Committee Information
  • Basic & Translational Science Committee*  
  • Multidisciplinary Clinical Science Committee*
    • Nominations are open to all disciplines. We encourage treating physicians (surgeons, medical oncologists, pulmonologists, radiologists) to apply.
    • Members of the 2023-2025 Advanced Radiation Technology (ART) Committee are automatically members of the ART subcommittee and no other Radiation Oncologist members are required at this time.

  • Rare Tumors Committee*
    • Nominations open to members from all disciplines interested in SCLC for the SCLC subcommittee and members interested in thymic malignancies for the thymic malignancy subcommittee. Members of the 2023-2025 Mesothelioma Committee are automatically members of the Mesothelioma Subcommittee and no other members are required at this time.

  • Global Multidisciplinary Practice Standards Committee*
  • Global Policy Committee*
  • Career Development Committee
    • As the majority of the Career Development Committee roster has already been built, nominations will only be open to early career investigators for the Early Career Subcommittee. 

      • Early career is defined as a Fellow, trainee, or a post-doctoral researcher (within three years of initial postdoctoral fellowship) or members within 5 years of an initial faculty appointment.

*These Committees will also be accepting nominations for the Committee Chair position.
